I usually stay far away from any type of political posts for fear of starting any more uneducated bicker matches. This is not inviting a war on position. I am simply sharing my feelings in this moment of our history.
When I was a kid, Americans thought it more probable that we would have robot house maids & flying cars than electing a black man to be President. It's not that I didn't believe it could happen, I was conditioned to the point where it wasn't even a thought....never an option. I've been blessed to have lived in many places, in different countries around the world. I have seen many things and met many people. My eyes have been opened, thoughts have expanded. I was able to see Barack Obama speak twice. I will not sit here and try to list the accomplishments, there are far too many. However, I will say thank you President Barack Obama for giving young kids around the world a new vision of who they can become. You are officially added to my list of heroes.
